During an RCN News broadcast, Felipe Arias said that he overcomes heart problems which led him to be confined for almost two weeks in a hospital center.
The presenter was finally able to tell the country through an interview, the difficult moments he experienced since March 11, the date on which he was hospitalized urgently. In the dialogue, the famous «NewsHunter» gave details about the problem in his heart and revealed that he must still take strict care to successfully complete his recovery.
Since the news about Arias’s hospitalization was released, delivered at the time by the Director of RCN News, Juan Carlos Acevedo, there were many followers and personalities of the country who gave their voice of encouragement so that the evolutionary process of the presenter was the best.

During one of the news broadcasts, Felipe Arias told Juan Carlos Acevedo that he experienced very difficult moments when he found out that he had 3 blocked arteries, which is why he had to undergo two catheterizations in order to clear them. Arias himself confessed that “They were difficult times, complex moments of much reflection and uncertainty, but now we are full of hope and desire. With a slightly wounded heart, but with a strengthened soul”. His wife, Viviana Montenegro, was the cane that helped him overcome this obstacle.
Likewise, he revealed that although he must follow many medical recommendations to the letter, he is motivated but felt very sad at times: “I cried many times, but you have to keep in mind that it is never worth giving up. I met little angels in the Intensive Care Unit. A nurse would arrive at three in the morning and she would tell me ‘come on, be brave, this is reserved for the brave and let’s say a prayer. ”
