Alejandro Riaño’s restaurant offers dishes named after politicians

The new Alejandro Riano’s restaurant offers a variety of food and drinks on its menu, alluding to several Colombian politicians and celebrities.

The Bogota humorist, recognized by the scathing and critical character called Juanpis González, was already known for his facet as an entrepreneur. Due to his parodies, Alejandro Riaño denounced threats against his children in networks, although that has not stopped him from continuing with his complaints.

Alejandro started several businesses linked to his image as Juanpis and one of them is his new restaurant called The JP Bar, located north of Bogotá. In this new project, the comedian has decided to throw darts again against some Colombian political figures. For this reason, the food and drinks offered in his bar bear the names of men and women of national life.

In the menu offered by the restaurant, some dishes and cocktails dedicated to political personalities such as President Iván Duque, former President Álvaro Uribe Vélez, the mayor of Bogotá Claudia López, and senators such as Gustavo Petro and María Fernanda Cabal stand out.

This somewhat particular menu offers a variety of foods and drinks for different budgets. The great novelty is that this restaurant will have a theatrical space in which Riaño will perform his usual show called The Juanpis Live Show in which this fictional character interviews celebrities and well-known figures from the Colombian jet set.

Although the comedian has caused discomfort with his character of Juanpis González for being a strong detractor of the government party, he has also been criticized recently because he is part of the group of celebrities who showed their support for Alejandra Azcárate, after the scandal that It was unleashed by the seizure of a shipment with more than 440 kilograms of cocaine, transported in a plane belonging to her husband, Miguel Jaramillo.
