This has happened to all of us when we use eyeliner: we manage to make a perfect line that enhances our eyes and we are very proud of our pulse; we look proudly in the mirror because we look impeccable, but at 3 o’clock we are like a panda bear: With all the eyeliner spilled on the lower lids, what happened?
A fatal mix between your skin type, the humid climate and the grease from the pencil you used conspired against your makeup to ruin it. You will ask yourself How do I keep my eyeliner from smudging? Well, take note because there is a trick that consists of 3 steps:
1. Dry your inner eyelid
The eye is always wet, that’s unavoidable, but if you apply makeup with the inner part of your eyelid too wet, the product will not adhere to it, so you must dry it gently with a swab before putting on makeup
2. Seal the eyeliner
Just as you seal your foundation with face powder, so you must seal your eyeliner. After applying the pencil, take a diagonal brush (like the one in the photo) and apply some matte eyeshadow the same color as your pencil with light strokes
3. Delimit
with a small brush apply face powder all the way around the edge outside of your eyeliner, this will serve as a barrier and border between the skin that is made up and the one that is not, preventing your eyeliner from running. And that’s the whole trick!
