During “The Wendy Williams Show”, host Wendy Williams spoke about the eleven nominations the film received joker to the Oscar Awards.

During his speech, Williams not only talked about the film, he also talked about its protagonist, Joaquin Phoenix, who is nominated for Best Leading Actor, assuring that he was a completely talented man with «a penetrating gaze.»

After praising the actor, the presenter began to talk about his physique, more precisely about the scar that the actor has on his lip. The strange thing about the matter was the mocking gestures that the presenter made to show what the cleft lip was about.

Immediately the audience burst out laughing, even one of her colleagues who appeared on camera couldn’t help laughing. But this was not well seen by all viewers, as many Internet users invaded social networks with strong criticism of Wendy.

One of the viewers recorded the moment when Williams begins to make fun of the actor’s condition:

For a solid 10 seconds she used her finger to mimic a cleft lip while the audience laughed. Imagine how my 5 year old would take it if he saw it? @WendyWilliams

I only speak on it bc I’m personally informed and educated on the topic. #better Do work Twitter pic.twitter.com/whfBbCVZE4
