The controversial imitator of ‘Bruno Mars’ was removed from ‘My name is’ and fans of the program do not stop celebrating.

Without a doubt, one of the programs that has caused the most stir among the public in recent months has been the reality show Yo me llamo, since the presentations of the artists, the characterization of their characters and the observations of the jury, night after night, generate a whole wave of opinions and comments on social networks.

Precisely, one of the topics that has given the most to talk about this season has been the participation of Junior Cuesta, the Bruno Mars impersonator, because every time he made his appearance on stage, hundreds of spectators launched all kinds of criticism in his against. Why?

According to the messages found on platforms such as Twitter, most agreed that the Colombian ultimately had no resemblance to the original singer, since «neither his physique, nor his dancing skills, much less his voice, could match the incredible talent of the American, something that the jury, especially the controversial Amparo Grisales, never saw, because in each presentation of the imitator a shower of praise and applause overflowed.

And it is that definitely every time Cuesta finished his show, an inordinate amount of publications was unleashed on networks in which the public demanded that he be eliminated, since they affirmed that compared to him, there were other competitors with much more talent and of course, more similar to the original artist.

However, although the artist became part of the 5 finalists, all this ended during the elimination gala on Wednesday, March 2, because after competing for his spot with ‘Leonardo Favio’, ‘Maluma’, ‘Camilo Sesto’, the Colombian had to say goodbye to the program.

After learning of the jury’s decision, driver Carlos Calero dedicated a few words to him: «We are proud of you. Your family is also very proud because you are going to shine on all stages, my brother.“. Amparo, Cesar Escola and Jeison Jiménez did the same while saying goodbye to the imitator with a big hug, at which time, in the midst of tears, Cuesta expressed:

My father brought me here by his grace and this is for my wife and children. Every thing I do is for them and thank you Colombia, I love you.”
