Why do we sometimes see the moon during the day?

Question from the reader – Gustavo Messias Bezerra, Caieiras, SP

actually she ever it can be seen during the day, with the exception of two days of the lunar cycle. Of the 29.5 days that make up the cycle, we just can’t see it in the full moon it’s from new Moon. This is because, in the nova, it is between the Earth and the Sun (but without blocking it, as in eclipses), so its side facing us does not receive light and does not appear. In the flood, it is not seen, because it is still below the horizon when it gets dark: it only rises when the sun sets, and sets when it rises. Other than that, we can see it during the day, if only for a few hours.
