A Map of Netflix’s Dark Families So You Don’t Get Lost

(Playback/Netflix)

If you’re like us, then you’re also hyped for the final season of darkwhich premieres June 27 on Netflix.

The series, which premiered in 2017, was the streaming service’s first German-language production. In the story, the suicide of a man, the disappearance of a child and the appearance of a body are apparently unrelated events that happen at almost the same time in a small town in the German countryside called Winden. As the inhabitants try to deal with these facts, four families end up getting involved in a much greater mystery than they can imagine.

One of the main features of Dark is that there are A LOT of characters. This makes sense within the plot proposal – we can’t say more because it would be spoilers. While the series does a good job of introducing everyone, it sometimes becomes difficult to keep track of who is who and what their relationship is to each other.

With that in mind, we set up the family trees below, portraying the characters of the four main families of the series. For those who are going to start watching, it is an essential guide.
