SINGAPORE’S FUTURISTIC GARDENS BY THE BAY

A beautiful set of gardens called «Gardens by the Bay» or Gardens of the Bay, was opened in Singapore in 2012, to fill the lack of tourist attractions and with the aim of arousing interest in tourists. This park was created as the lung of the city and a place of recreation, consists of three areas: the Central Lawn, the East Lawn by the Bay and the South Lawn by the Baythe latter being the largest as well as the main one.

This attraction is a huge concrete structure with heights of up to 50 meters high and shaped like a tree that simulates vertical gardens and houses a large number of climbing plants.

As it is a relatively new construction, it is not yet completely covered by vegetation, however over the years it is expected that the structure will be completely covered by plants. This tour is completed in minutes, even though its extension is 128 meters and you must pay for the entrance to enjoy the attraction.

Although there are areas where you must cancel your ticket in order to visit, there are a lot of gardens that are freesuch as the Malaysian Garden, the Indian Garden, the Colonial Garden or the Chinese Garden.

In the evening, you can enjoy a free sound and light show which takes place every day between 7:45 and 8:45 and can be enjoyed from anywhere in the area of ​​the super trees.
