However, this scene might seem unlikely today due to the restrictions that are in place around the world to contain the coronavirus pandemic, including social distancing, quarantines, etc. Well a german supermarket wants its customers to pair up and help them.

This is what is happening in the Bavarian town of Volkach, where the Edeka supermarket branch has a space specially created so that singles can meet.
Every Friday, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, the «single shopping» occurs, where singles who want to find a partner can find it. The mechanics are simple: those interested in participating are given a heart with a number in a visible place on their clothes and they market normally, respecting all biosecurity measures.
If any of the singles find someone who catches their attention, they can leave a message in the boxes with the corresponding heart number. This way, they can get in touch later and safely.
