You liked that they won «The Searchers» in Asia Express

As Mami Tita was telling in her activity reports on Colombian television, Asía Express came to an end and the winners were “Los rebuscadores”.

Since childhood they believe that friendship can do everything. And the slogan always works for them. Proof of this is that last night Jairus and Elishabetter known as ‘El Negro’ and ‘El Indio’ or ‘Los Rebuscadores’they won ‘asian express’the Caracol reality show that for two months had Colombians glued to the television screen.

This pair of 30 and 31-year-olds from Cali, respectively, convinced that the affectionate relationship they built since they were in second grade could bring them good things, took the risk of undertaking this adventure.

They arrived at the call of the program with nothing prepared. They sneaked into the casting posing as journalists, in a line of 300 people in the Cali Bullring. “It was thanks to the power of the rosette”they say The first thing they were asked was to describe each other, a task – who would believe it – difficult for them.

‘El Negro’, Jairo Enrique Candelo Bermúdez, defined ‘El Indio’ «as a ‘gamin’, but fine. A bald man who jumps from any tree, who never loses his quality, a great human being who friends ask for advice. I tell him things that are not told to everyone. More than a friend, it is family”.

For his part, Eliseo Espinosa Guzmán, ‘El Indio’, describes his partner as «a ‘patched’very happy, friendly, to whom the people who know him go every so often”.

What came after queuing was a test that was recorded in videos and photos and that consisted of going through Cali in search of money.

‘El Negro’ dressed as Michael Jackson and danced at various points in the city, and ‘El Indio’ promoted the show and collected the money that people gave them. Thus they became ‘The Rebuscadores’.

They were the only people from Cali who traveled, together with eleven couples from Colombia, on an adventure through Asia where they toured 5000 kilometerspassing through four countries: Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand.

The contestants, while overcoming tough tests and racing to survive, were rewarded with dragons or medals that were equivalent to money at the end of the program.

“In Asia we had to sleep together, eat weird things, not shower for several days, put up with one or two fights and talk our way through them, and move on. We were the usual ‘brothers’, the ones who danced, sang salsa and made people laugh” comment Jairus.

This is a sign that friendship can do everything and we want to ask you if you liked that this pair of friends were the big winners of this reality show.
