Everybody hates Chris (Everybody Hates Chris2005-2009) is based on the life of comedian Chris Rock, famous for films such as Big peopleIt is Madagascar (in which he voices the zebra Marty). In 2016, he hosted the Oscars. He was inspired by his own childhood memories to propose the series to producer Ali LeRoi and, therefore, was also the original narrator of the 88 episodes shown.
