Netflix has just added an extensive Polish film to its catalog: How I fell in love with a gangster. We are talking about a movie inspired by a true story directed by Maciej Kawulski that focuses on Nikodem, a popular drug dealer who became one of the most well-known criminals in that European country. The official synthesis of this adrenaline-pumping thriller states: «An enigmatic woman chronicles the rise and fall of Nikodem ‘Nikos’ Skotarczak, among the biggest mobsters in Polish storytelling.»
The cast of this production is led by Tomasz Wlosok, Aleks Kurdzielewicz, Antoni Królikowski, Agnieszka Grochowska, Magdalena Lamparska and Krystyna Janda. The main character of the film is Wlosok, who became one of the most important actors on the Polish scene by taking part in very popular dramas like Na Zoze, Diagnoza and Mjak Milosc. This produced a huge expectation around this edition from Tomasz’s fans in that area around the world.
