Motherboards and boards in general (graphics, sound, etc.) are made of Bakelite, although fiberglass is currently used more.
The most used is the fiberglass type, due to its quality and economy. Bakelite is clearly in recession, since it is more fragile than the others and of poorer quality.
There are also Teflon ones, which are really good, but also very expensive.
