Lucifer, or Luzbel, one of the city of God’s favorite angels, was expelled from Heaven for revolting against his power.
Luzbel, the most beautiful angel of creation
According to history, Luzbel was the most beautiful angel created by God. He endowed her with colossal beauty and also with wisdom, transforming her into her favorite, and in the much more impeccable way of organizing and directing the rest of the angels. She had all the security of the builder, but that was not enough. Seduced by his pride, vanity and feeling of superiority over God, he dragged a large part of the heavenly court into a rebellion, whose last consequences were the presence of evil, evil and its disappearance in the world.

The entrance to heaven was prohibited centuries later, in the time of Jesus. As recounted in the Apocalypse, the sacrifice of Christ was indispensable to confine him on earth. In Revelation 12 (The Woman, the Dragon, and the Child), Satan is said to have been defeated by the blood of the Lamb and then thrown to earth, along with his army, by the Archangel Michael. From that moment on, neither he nor his faithful would have a space in heaven.
The origin of the city of fallen angels

In the beginning, the fallen Angels belonged to the celestial group that protected the beginnings of the human race. They were specially shaped by God to protect man and were given understanding and independence.
These specifications led several of these angels to begin to question their builder, turning away from him and making different «mistakes» that led God to fire them from heaven, banishing them to hell.
Other much more powerful angels in heaven
Like Archangel Michael, there are other archangels of enormous power, as they are the managers or administrative leaders of the rest of the angels, since they try to match their joint sacrifices to achieve God’s mission.
Among these other archangels we can find Archangel Haniel, Archangel Raphael, Archangel Sariel, Archangel Ragüel, Archangel Remiel, Archangel Raziel, Archangel Metatron and Archangel Amiel.
Christianity
The Hebrew word like «Hêlêl» or «Heylel» means luminous, bearer of light and appears in the Bible in the book of Isaiah, specifically in chapter 14. It tells that the conqueror of Jerusalem, whose name was Nebuchadnezzar II (King of Babylon), was blamed on a vision sent by the prophet Isaiah where evil reigned and for this eventuality he is called the «Morning Star».
Later Christian tradition used this Latin word to detail the «Morning Star» as our name for Lucifer. After his fall into hell, that name became the alias or nick of Satan in the church.
