A body of people in ashes, with legs and head preserved, with no heat sources nearby, in a scenario where nothing else caught fire. At least since 1731, when the Italian countess Cornelia Baudi was found dead in her bed, such cases have been discussed. The phenomenon is rare. To date, only 200 deaths have been recorded as spontaneous combustion. Today, however, experts classify these events as continued human combustion, whose scientific explanation you can find here:

The English police expert and self-taught John Heymer wrote in the book Entrance Flame that the phenomenon would occur with people in a psychological trance. The condition, caused by social isolation and loneliness, would trigger chemical reactions and combustion
