The Tren de la Sabana has been a means of tourist transport that does not go out of stylethat’s why we present it to you as a Vibra Experience.
Every weekend the train activates its tourist service crossing part of the center and north of the capital to reach to its destination, the municipality of Zipaquira in Cundinamarca.
What is the route of the Tren de la Sabana?
The tour starts in the center of the city exactly at the Sabana Station at Calle 13 # 18 – 24 and leaves at 8:20 in the morning.
The train makes a stop at the popular Usaquén Station on Carrera 9 # 110 – 08from this place it starts again at 9:15 with a direct route to Zipaquirá where it will be arriving at 10:45 in the morning.
The return to Bogotá starts at 3:15 in the afternoon with a stop in Usaquén before reaching downtown Bogotá.
inside the wagons you will find comfortable chairs for the trip and space for a cafeteria where you can have breakfast or have a coffee.
In Zipaquirá you can enjoy other experiences that it offers andhe municipalitybut they are not included in the basic package.
