Training collar test & recommendations

However, a training collar is not a permanent solution. On the one hand, this means that you should not equip your dog with it for life. Once the behavior has permanently improved, you no longer need it.

On the other hand, this also means that you shouldn't let the dog run around with the belt on all day. The following applies here: Too much training can also be harmful, as there is a risk that the dog will no longer respond to the stimuli. The skin and fur in the neck area can also be affected.

Ideally, a training collar is therefore part of training sessions. It should be used for a maximum of a few hours every day. During this time you should concentrate entirely on the dog, accompany it lovingly and only intervene if it behaves badly.
