The woman died doing what she liked the most, although it is not ruled out that it was a human error, she did it to also fulfill one of her wishes, but she did not count on the tragedy.

Olivia Kua 25-year-old model originally from Taipeipassed away on May 16 while posing for an underwater shoot on a beach located in the town of Hengchun Township, in Taiwanaccording to the British newspaper Mirror.

Ku felt quite capable of doing this mermaid-themed shoot as she had been scuba diving as a hobby for a little over three years, so she had enough experience in the field. Until this moment it is said that Ku died of an asthma attack underwaterbut the investigation continues as they suspect that it could be the cause of human error since the photographer asked her to remove her diving mask when they were 6 meters deep, and probably forced her to hold her breath underwater for too long .

Firefighters quickly arrived to take the young woman and mother of a girl to a hospital, but despite efforts they were unable to resuscitate her. The coast guard in the area says that if they had had a professional diver to support them on set, none of this would have happened.

Ku was represented by the modeling agency EelinEntertainmentwhich released an official statement assuring that this shoot was not approved by the agency, and that it was an external job of the model. This was not the first time she had dived in the area, as she enjoyed volunteering to collect garbage from the sea.
