“I love you as you are”. These were the words that the father of the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany García told her once she confessed that he had a relationship with another woman.
“I never forget his words, because he grew so much and so much. He told me, ‘look me in the eyes and I want you to know that I love you and I love you as you are and who you are, and for me you will always be the same ”the artist told the journalist Bárbara Bermudo in an interview for the program «First impact»of Univision.

He described his partner as «A human being that adds a lot to me and to do this kind of thing, knowing the repercussions it would have, it had to be something that really moved you and that filled your heart, and that’s how it was.»
