Lies
In the film it is stated that Queen is separated due to Freddie’s work as a solo artist. That’s a lie: Queen took a gap year after the recording of Hot Space (1982 album).
Mercury was the last member of Queen to have a solo project. Earlier, drummer Roger Taylor had already released two solo albums (one in 1981 and one in 1984), as had Brian May in 1983; even John Deacon had recorded a single that year.
