The meaning of Beyoncé’s clothes at the Super Bowl

Much more than sensuality! We bring to light the meanings that Bayoncé imprinted on the costumes he wore during the Super Bowl.

The clothes that everyone wears have hidden messages, meanings that go beyond the trend that is being used or even fashion itself. Every teenager knows it. Anyone who has to go to work in a uniform, too. And Beyoncé had it super clear last Sunday during her Super Bowl performance.

#Beyonce reminds us why she’s a star at the #SuperBowl.

For his performance, in the middle of one of the most important events in the United States, she and her dancers (all with “afros” and berets) wore black leather clothing, a clear reference to the Black Panthers, a political and revolutionary movement that emerged in the 1960s to fight racism. The raised fist, characteristic symbol of «black power», left no room for doubt.

As for the golden X that crossed his body, simulating bullet loads, hundreds of netizens instantly saw a reference to Michael Jacksonwho wore similar clothes in 1993 during his show for the same event, according to reports BBC.

But maybe this X had another meaning besides paying homage to the King of Pop… Everything made sense when the choreography revealed a huge X on stage, reference to Malcolm XAmerican activist who fought for the rights of African Americans, assassinated in 1965 and criticized for his not entirely peaceful methods.
