The 7 chakras of the Earth, the high energy points in the world

In the early 1970s, the scientist James Lovelock proposed that the Earth was not an inert rock, but that it was an immense life system. This is the Gaia theory, a fascinating idea that the planet is a living super organism.

To some this thinking borders on the fantastic, but to scientists like Lovelock and other followers of terrestrial life, it just seems logical that the Earth is a living organism.

How was life on Earth born? If we go over the basic idea a bit, it was all from energy. Particles that once managed to reach Earth from the universe formed more complex cells that in turn gave life to primitive cells, which ended up creating a whole important life system.

From this sense, the idea that «we are stardust» is not so far-fetched, much less that the planet is an immense life system. But, at the end of the day, everything translates into energy; the Earth is energy, the beings that inhabit it, the climate, the ecosystems and practically everything is an expression of energy.

The 7 chakras of the Earth (energy points)

The Earth is full of energy, it is alive; through volcanoes, oceans, clouds, air, earthquakes, etc. Wherever you look, there is energy in motion. However, just as in the human body there are key energy points, in the Earth there are also, these are known as the 7 chakras of the Earth.

According to different philosophical and religious beliefs, a chakra is a point of energy. Each chakra is responsible for giving balance to a body through the connection of different parts of that body. In the human being, for example, there is the psychological, spiritual, emotional and organic connection.

Ancient civilizations believed that the Earth also contained its own chakras and that it communicated through them. Being an organism full of life, the planet must preserve a certain balance between its components.

It is even thought that human beings can balance when they coordinate their chakras with those of the Earth and live in tune with it, something that indigenous and even Buddhist communities continue to practice. With this in mind, the Earth’s chakras or the high energy vortices of the planet were designated where you can connect with it.

The 7 main energy chakras of the Earth are:

  • Root Chakra (muladhara) – Mount Shasta, USA
  • Sacral Chakra (svadhisthana) – Lake Titicaca, Peru and Bolivia
  • Solar Plexus Chakra (manipura) – Uluru and Kata Tjuta, Australia
  • Heart Chakra (anahata) – Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Somerset, Dorset and Shaftesbury, UK
  • Throat Chakra (visuddha) – The Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt
  • Third Eye Chakra (ajna) – It is a mobile chakra (it has no fixed point)
  • Crown Chakra (sahasrara) – Mount Kailash, Himalayas in Tibet

No doubt there are other places on Earth with energy, but it is believed that these are the main points that concentrate the strongest energy on the planet. However, it is about trying to connect our energy in the depths with the Earth and from some sense to understand its movement.
