Salone del Mobile 2024: Where to go and what to do in the week of Milan's design

Before putting a foot in fierce Milano, we recommend making a list of priority exhibitors. (It is easy to ignore a brand that you love while you try to navigate the crowded pavilions). In addition, it is almost impossible to see everything in Salone every year, so establishing some priorities and then getting carried away is usually the best option. At our point of view? Minotti, who is softening the angular silhouette of the Goodman 2022 modular seat system of the deceased Rodolfo Dordoni to give him a new approach with widths of 30, 75 and 90 degrees (Pavilion 11, E15 G12 G16 E27 G22).

In Eurocucin, Officine Gullo continues to work internally with surprising results: the surface of the elegant isola, its new line of Kitchen islandscan integrate from everything, from induction plates to lava stone barbecues, frying plates with mirror finishes and, of course, pasta cookers, while underneath, ovens, dishwasher and pantry spaces (pDeepellon 4, C10).

Overcoming the Milan Design Week requires resistance, and although the city offers infinite (and essential) opportunities to take an espresso or a Spritz Aperol, design fans also have other options to celebrate it. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic print Unikko From Maija Isola, Marimekko has been associated with apartment to transform the Stoppani bar into the Bar Unikko concept cafeteria, where daytime and night dinners are served with collectible objects of limited editing with the beloved abstract floral (Via Antonio Stoppani 15). Meanwhile, the facade of The Bar AT Ralph Lauren will have an installation of white tulips and blue and white stripe fabrics from the Ralph Lauren Home collection to welcome the attendees at the week of the design to the ventilated patio where high -level American food is served (Via della Spiga 5).

The architects Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet brilliantly reinterpreted the chapel of the former Archbishop Seminary to create the new and elegant headquarters of Beefbar Milan.

We are onona, the favorite itinerant dining room of the art of art, fashion and design, serves meals and dinners during the week of Milan's design for the third consecutive year. This time, the Marseille chef Megan Moore will cook at the new headquarters of the Fondation Sozzani Cultural Center, located in the industrial neighborhood of Bovisa, north of Milan. The elegant stage, conceived by the stage Laura Floor, will revolve around photographs by Mark Borthwick. And after staging iterations of the Caffé Populaire concept in an old factory of Panettone And in a landscaped temple in previous years, Lambert & Fils and Dwa Design Studio return home, to the DWA chocolate factory turned into office space, to present new projects, snacks and culinary art for a week (via Giulio e Corrado, Venini 85).

Just in time for the week of Milan's design, resortudio presents his vision of the Treatory Traditional with the Treator of Ciumbia, a Brera store inspired by the avant -garde artistic movement of the 60s of the city, soaked red passes. Stop by the Milanés -style fresh paste menu and then lower the steel disco, reserved for restaurant customers. Other fashion places are Beefbar, of the French duo Humbert & Poyet, and Zaia, of Mediterranean inspiration, which has just opened at the Aethos hotel.
