A space for calm
Vacuum and silence are two concepts that the owner has always been present in contrast to his busy rhythm of life, traveling and with little free time. Winning natural light was another of the great challenges. For this, the wall of the patio facade was replaced by a large window of more than four meters that allowed the entire room to bathe. It was the first of many challenges.

A respectful rehabilitation
The stone walls are today the great protagonists, but they supposed a big surprise (and a challenge), discovering them under layers of plaster, wallpaper and tiles. They were very deteriorated, with abundant humidity, but, even so, they had great potential. There were no doubts about it, and they ended up becoming one of the conductive threads throughout the house, from the entrance to the room, through the rooms where they also fulfill an important decorative work.
For its restoration there were experts in traditional revocation that meticulously worked in touch to Palmo for months. One of the most spectacular walls is at the entrance, in which stone, brick and masonry blocks from different eras can be differentiated.
