In 1999 the writer Jorge Franco published one of the novels with the most readers in our country and we are referring to Rosary Scissors. This book tells the story of a young victim of social violence in Medellín in the 1980s. and that ends up working in the hitman.
It quickly became a bestseller in Colombia and for this reason the eyes of audiovisual production companies turned their attention to it. In 2005 Dulce Compañía FIDECINE premiered the film based on this book in theaters, with Flora Martínez as the protagonist, and In 2010 the RCN Channel broadcast for the first time the telenovela based on this same story.
