Every time one falls hail storm in Bogota, like the one on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 27, is news! And here are some of the “Christmas postcards”.
Colombia, being located near the equator on the globe, is not a country that has seasons, so there is only snow at high altitudes.
However, we do have hail, and when it accumulates on the streets and parks of cities like Bogotá, for a few minutes we Colombians can pretend that it is snowing.

This happened during the afternoon of last Tuesday, October 27, 2020, when in the midst of a torrential downpour that fell on the capital, the networks were filled with images and videos of the accumulated hail in the streets.
Some Twitter users called the images «Christmas postcards.»
Even some children took to the streets and began to make balls with the hail, as if it were snow. Did you ever do something like this in your childhood?
The Firefighters warned drivers about the bad weather through their social networks and recommended them to drive with caution due to the danger generated by the accumulated ice on the asphalt.
Some security cameras located in neighborhoods of the city captured images of this climatic phenomenon.
