Paisa women are stigmatized
It seems that the beautiful paisa women are victims of machismo, since they are only valued for their physique.
So says the columnist The Spectator Catalina Ruiz-Navarro who points out that this region of the country carries a stigma of having the fame of the most beautiful women, which has also allowed it to be considered as a destination for sex tourism and exploitation of minors. “Fame is terribly unfair and has had serious social consequences.
