Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – 2001
It is the first film and it tells how Harry Potter, an orphan boy, begins to perceive strange events around him. The young man receives a letter that reveals the secrets that his uncles hid from him throughout his life and that invites him, with a revelation from Dumbledore, to be part of the Hogwarts school of wizards. Together with the school’s gamekeeper, Rubeus Hagrid, Harry arrives there and learns that an ancient legendary object, the Philosopher’s Stone, is hidden.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – 2002
A house elf arrives at Harry’s aunt and uncle’s house to warn him that the best thing is for the wizard not to return to school, as there is a plot to cause chaos and death, something that would involve Harry. The Secret Chamber is open and with it, some students suffer attacks without the person responsible being found. Harry, along with Hermione and Ron, faces a mystery that jeopardizes the continuity of Hogwarts Institute and exposes Lord Voldemort’s secrets thanks to his personal diary.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – 2004
A dangerous and suspected murderer named Sirius Black manages to escape from Azkaban prison. Arthur Weasley warns Harry that the fugitive was a follower of Voldemort, so his life is possibly in danger. Despite the fact that there are demenotres surrounding the school, Potter and Black meet, discovering that Remus Lupin, Severus Snape and Peter Pettigrew, play the past of Harry’s parents.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – 2005
The Quidditch World Championship is played but this is interrupted when Death Eaters, former followers of Lord Voldemort, attack the tournament venue. Hogwarts becomes the site of the Triwizard Tournament, and Harry ends up taking part in all three grueling tests of the competition. The last test is a trap to allow the resurgence of Lord Voldemort and for Harry to confront him and die.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – 2007
The Ministry of Magic doesn’t believe that Voldemort is back. They immediately launch a smear campaign against Albus Dumbledore, and this causes Harry to come to his defense. This is the reason that leads Professor Dumbledore to create the Order of the Phoenix, as a protective measure against Lord Voldemort and to try to convince Cornelius Fudge to accept that the evil character is really back.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – 2009
England receives attacks from Voldemort and his Death Eaters towards Muggles. Harry and his friends are back at Hogwarts for their sixth year of studies. Draco Malfoy receives a mission from Voldemort and Severus Snape, he swears an oath to protect him and carry out the mission if Malfoy is unable to carry it out. Harry finds a book of potions owned by the Half-Blood Prince, who helps him throughout the year. Dumbledore and Potter explore Lord Voldemort’s past through memories that will prepare Harry for the final battle and begin to destroy the fragments (horcruxes) in which the villain has hidden parts of his soul.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 – 2010
Harry, Hermione and Ron are forced to go on a dangerous journey outside of Hogwarts. This journey will take them around the country in search of the remaining horcruxes to destroy them and end the fragments of Lord Voldemort’s soul. By this time, the Ministry of Magic has collapsed and Voldemort has risen to power at Hogwarts.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part two – 2011
After several months searching for some Horcruxes, Harry, Ron and Hermione return to Hogwarts upon learning that another part of Voldemort’s soul is hidden there. Harry discovers that everything that has happened in his life since he was handed over to his aunt and uncle was Dumbledore’s plan to take care of him. In the midst of the search for the last horcruxes, the final battle breaks out.
