Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts already arranged (boneless)
  • 3 oranges
  • Two tablespoons of white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • A tablespoon of maizena (corn starch)
  • 100 grams wheat flour
  • A small garlic peeled and finely chopped
  • Sesame
  • oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1. Cut

Take the breast and cut it into squares. In a separate container, squeeze the oranges (without the seeds) and reserve it.

Step 2. Bread

In a bowl or plate, pour the flour and pass each piece of the chicken through it, and put them in a container. Now, put the orange juice in a pan that is on low heat. Add the soy sauce, the sugar, the pieces of garlic and the cornstarch. Mix all the ingredients very well and let it cook over medium heat.

Step 3. Fry

In a separate pan, pour enough oil and once it has taken temperature add the chicken to fry for about 3 minutes or until golden brown; Allow them to rest on absorbent paper to remove excess fat. Once they are ready, add them to the pan in which you are making the sauce. You must be careful that this sauce is not going to thicken too much or burn. Let the pieces cook in the sweet and sour sauce for about 2 or 3 more minutes, turning so that they are impregnated. At the end, raise the heat a little so that the portions caramelize and when the sauce has dried a bit, add sesame seeds on top and it will be time to serve. You can do it in individual dishes or in a bowl so that everyone can take what they like. Bon Appetite.
