We therefore hope that other platforms will also follow the example of ‘Your Wildlife’ to ensure more safety on their platforms, but above all more safety for the animals. In the end, voluntary measures will not suffice: To ensure that the unscrupulous animal sales do not simply relocate, a legal regulation is required for all online sales portals and all social media. The new government must act here as quickly as possible. For this, the inclusion of such a regulation in the coalition agreement, which is currently still to be negotiated, is essential.”
