New Moon horoscope: what to expect from Saturday’s New Moon in Taurus solar eclipse

The accumulation of this New Moon has emulated a low rumble. If you have been feeling particularly evocative, emotional, or erratic, the energies stimulated by this upcoming eclipse are the answer. The storm will pass and the clarity will sweep through, but you may have some decisions to make this weekend.

The last New Moon of Aries came to help you establish who you are, what you deserve and what you are ready to receive. The Aries sign is associated with initiation, courage, daring, spontaneity, and inspiration, which are invaluable promoters of self-discovery.

Then came the Libra Full Moon to help you break down the barriers and move towards what the Aries Moon helped you discover.

Now, as we enter the first eclipse season of 2022, you’ll be able to lay a new foundation to build on your ambitions.

You can feel a lot going on during this New Moon solar eclipse.

The energies of the eclipse began with the first new moon of April, the Aries New Moon at the beginning of the month.

But we really started to get a taste of what this eclipse season would bring with the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune on April 12, and even more so when the sun moved into Taurus on April 20.

Since then the energies have been building up and the waning moon has been showing us what needs to be released before we begin this powerful new beginning.

A solar eclipse takes place on a New Moon, when the Moon lines up exactly between the Earth and the Sun, blocking out the Sun’s light.

As this would suggest, an eclipse can bring with it a sense of darkness and come face to face with its shadows, and we can feel this much more strongly as we taper through the dark moon energies in the lead up to this Moon. New.

You will be taken to parts of yourself that you try to hide or run away from; the emotions you prefer not to face or deal with; the secret longings you carry; the wounds; wounds; fears and rejections that you have not yet processed and healed.”

This can feel quite heavy, and as we approach the eclipse, your emotions may eclipse along with it.

If you have been feeling super emotional, irrational, sad, fearful or reflecting on the past, these are all effects of the eclipse.

You may also feel exhausted and lethargic, but full of anxious or nervous energy as if you had too much caffeine!

During a solar eclipse, you can sometimes be confronted with a sense of ‘who am I’ and a jarring understanding of where and how you have been lost.

This will become especially apparent during a grounded Taurus Moon, as lunar transits in this sign often bring with them a reality check. Combining this with the energy of the eclipse will help highlight where you might have gone off course.

Kirsty continued, «But one thing New Moon is here for is to help you see that maybe it’s by losing yourself that you’ve actually found yourself.»

Although eclipses can feel deep and intense, they also bring a brief pause and momentary stillness when everything falls into alignment, creating the potential to wipe the slate clean and start anew.

Be still during the dark moon and eclipse and spend some time alone in the dark.

Allow it to reveal answers to you, and then use this knowledge to help you move forward.
