A foreign photographer was so fascinated by Colombian motels that he photographed them.
The motel, that crossing between hotel and whorehouse where we Colombians rent rooms for a short time to make love, It is something that many foreigners find exotic. So much so, that if in countries like the United States you ask for one of these, they point you to a roadside hotel, to spend the night by the side of the road, not to do your Pilatunas.
That strangeness was captured with his lens by the Italian photographer Francesco Giusti, for whom the Cali moletes were a surprising experience. Recently CNN published a note with 12 of his photographs, with the suggestive name of The strange world of ‘love motels’ (The strange world of love motels).
