Ingredients
- 4 pounds of ground meat (pork or beef)
- 6 hard boiled eggs
- 4 sausages cut in half
- A quarter of red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup julienned large carrot
- 4 green beans cut in half
- Two finely minced garlic cloves
- Oil
- Water
- Salt
Preparation
Step 1. Season and prepare
In a large bowl, put the ground beef and add the garlic, oil and salt to taste; mix very well with your hands so that all the meat is impregnated with these flavors. Cut a sheet of clear paper or plastic wrap and lay it out on a flat surface. On top of the transparent paper, put a sheet of aluminum foil and go adding the meat very well spread on it, until covering the surface of the two papers. The meat should be 1 or 2 cm thick.
Step 2. Fill and cover
Once the meat is well spread out, start putting the stuffing on top of it (well separated so that when you close the stuffing, it is spread over the entire surface). Place the eggs, the carrot, the beans, the sausages and scratch the paprika along the surface of the meat. Now, take one of the ends of the transparent and aluminum foil and start rolling it up firmly but carefully so as not to break the meat. Remember that all the meat must be wrapped so that no water enters it when you cook it. The idea of this roll is that the transparent paper protects the aluminum so that it does not break, since this will be the one that will cover the roll for cooking. Once you finish doing this action, remove the plastic.
Step 3. Cook
In a pot, heat water with a little salt. Once it has taken temperature, insert the meat roll to start cooking. The water should reach more or less the middle of the roll. Cover the pot and let it cook for 90 minutes (45 minutes on one side and turn it over to cook 45 minutes on the other). After this time, take out the rolls and open them very carefully. Cut the slices and voila, you will have some meat rolls to surprise your guests!
