How to enter quietly
If you are trying to join a call from zoom without making much noise, you can choose to enter silently. This tip is especially helpful when meetings have already started and you’re trying to join afternoon and stealthily.
To remove the AUDIO:
- Open the Zoom app and click Setting.

- To turn your camera back on, you can do so at the beginning or in the middle of meetings by clicking the button video at the bottom of the screen.
Change your background in Zoom
If your house is messy, you don’t want to tidy up or you don’t have time, and you have to turn on the camera, don’t worry, you can put a background. The best: Doesn’t even require a screen green to do so (although you can certainly use one if you want).
How to change the background in Zoom?
click on Setting> Background virtual. From there, Zoom will offer you a few selections that you can use, or upload basically any image you want.
silence everyone at once

How to mute everyone else on Zoom?
you can just press ⌘Cmd + Ctrl + M on a Mac or Alt + M on a PC to silence everyone.
You can also navigate to the controls of Host in the Zoom app on the desktop and click Manage ParticipantsThen in Silence everything.
Always show participant names on Zoom
If you don’t retain all the names easily, or if there are a lot of people in your conversation, you can make everyone’s name appear.
Go to Settings > Video and check the box to Always show the name of the participant.
Zoom beauty filter
Just as one can change the background to make the house look tidy, one can tidy up the look itself. In Zoom there are beauty filters, like on the phone.
How to put beauty filters in Zoom?
Go to Setting> Video. From there, check the box for retouch my appearance, and Zoom will soften the focus of your camera, giving your skin a refreshing glow. Nice.
Record meetings on Zoom
There are many reasons to record video calls. Especially when we fail to take note.
To do it go to Setting> Recording and activate the option. Once done, you can click on the icon Engrave When you are hosting a Zoom meeting in the bottom toolbar to record your meeting and save it to your computer.

If you’re in the middle of a meeting and realize you forgot to send an invite to one or two important coworkers, you can send a «quick invite.»
Write ⌘Cmd + I on a Mac either Alt + I on a PC to open the window Invite. do on the tab Email, Copy the URL and send it to anyone you want to invite to the meeting. You can also click Contacts to directly invite a colleague if they’re in your contact list.
Unlimited meetings on Zoom
Zoom is an amazing free service, but it has a time limit. Meetings only last until 40 minutes on the level gratuitous. Paid plans offer unlimited timethe ability to add more people, and a way to record meetings in the cloud.
If you want to join the conversation, but don’t like leaving Zoom unmuted, press and hold the space bar and will temporarily turn on mute.
