Ingredients
- 1 romaine lettuce
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 chopped big onion
- A diced avocado
- 1 carrot julienned
- rooster’s beak
- 1 tomato
- A cup of chili
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
How to make Chicken Lettuce Tacos
Step 1: Prepare Sauce
Blend the tomato, the chili pepper, the garlic clove, a quarter cup of apple cider vinegar and half a cup of chicken broth; then strain.
Step 2: Cut and fry
Cut the breast into small squares and sauté it in a pan with olive oil until golden brown.
Step 3: Mix
Add the onion to the pan and mix with the chicken.
Step 4: Season
Proceed to season with salt, pepper and the sauce that you previously prepared. Mix this preparation with the avocado, carrot and pico de gallo. This will be the filling.
And the last step to make healthy chicken tacos: Assemble the tacos
Substitute the flour tortilla for the romaine lettuce leaves. And build your tacos!
