SUGGESTION Bruno Alexandre, Taboão da Serra, SP

1) Born 12 in June in 1929, Anneliese Marie Frank spent two teenage years hidden with her family in a secret house at the back ofin a company, to escape Nazi persecution in the Netherlands. There, she would have written a daily. Discovered in August in 1944, the Frank were taken to a field in concentration, where Anne he died in typhus.

two) The only survivor of the family, father Otto returned to Amsterdam and met Miep Gies, a former employee who had helped during the period in seclusion. She had kept the family belongings not taken by the Nazis, including the three notebooks of the anne frank diary. Here is the first suspicion: skeptics consider it unlikely that the Gestapo did not confiscate any type in manuscript.

+ Conspiracy Theory: Was Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain’s suicide faked?

3) Otto discovered two versions of daily. In the first months, Annehe wrote freely about what he thought and felt. But when she heard on the clandestine radio that an exiled member of the Dutch government promised to publish the survivors’ accounts, she rewrote the text, using false names and restructuring some passages as if they were letters (to fictitious people).

4) Otto admitted that he merged the two versions and removed heavier parts. But, because of the changes and the mature content, several publishers refused the work (then called in the Annex). Critics also use these two arguments as evidence in that, in fact, Otto invented everything. The book only came out in 1947 and was later released in English as The Daily in a young.

5) US writer Meyer Levin was the first to attempt to adapt it for the stage. One theory alleges that, in fact, he was the true author of the original work – which would help explain its high literary quality. And more: the novelist would have sued Otto to receive for the authorship. The father in Anneallegedly paid $50,000 in indemnity.

+ Conspiracy Theory: Man never set foot on the moon

+ Conspiracy Theory: Is it true that every person has an evil copy in the world?

6) A third conspiracy theory alleges that the real perpetrator was neither Otto nor Meyer, but the employee Miep, who had “found” the daily. Furthermore, there are allegations in that there were marks in edition in the original manuscript made with ballpoint pen – which did not exist at the time. That is, its manufacture would have happened well after the 2nd World War.

7) The initial failure of the book is also cited by conspirologists as a signin that the origin of the work is not very clear. Eventually it became a bestseller and today supports the Foundation Anne Frank. The Foundation itself declared, in 2015, that the book is, in fact, a co-authorship between Anne and Otto. would be the confession in that the girl didn’t write any books.

ON THE OTHER HAND…

Analysis of the originals prove the authenticity of the work

– Via in As a rule, skeptics who doubt the authenticity of the daily are neo-fascists or neo-Nazis, who also commit serious intellectual atrocities such as advocating racism and denying the Holocaust in 6 million inJews during World War II.

– On different occasions the diaries were submitted to independent technicians, who were able to analyze the handwriting in Anne Frank in previous letters. They were also able to research the paper, ink and glue used to bind the pages. All reports, since the decade in 1950, prove: the daily it’s authentic.

– Those doodles in ballpoint pens were simply never found in the originals. It is pure rumour, which continues to spread.

– Meyer, in in fact, sued Otto. But claiming that another Broadway adaptation, authorized by the father in Anne, was plagiarism from the play he had written (and had never been performed). Meyer won the case, but none of this indicates that he was the true author of the daily.

– The co-authorship argument, launched by the Fundação Anne Frankhas a clear objective: to extend the duration of the exclusive copyright of the work, whose term would now be counted from the death in Otto in 1980, and not in Annein 1945.
