If I follow a friend on Facebook again, will that friend find out or will they get a notification?

Facebook doesn’t notify you if you refollow a friend or remove them from your followers.
Note that one can unfollow someone, but still be their friend. Unfollowing someone means that you will no longer see their updates in your Facebook News Feed, but you will still be their friend.
Later you can follow him again and he will not be notified by Facebook of this.
