Ingredients

  • 1 cup of rice
  • 2 whole cucumbers
  • 1 and 1/2 wells of water
  • A diced carrot
  • Half cup of peas
  • Half cup of beans
  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 finely chopped big onion
  • 2 garlic cloves finely minced
  • A finely chopped tomato
  • A cup of minced meat (of your choice)
  • Half a teaspoon of pepper
  • Half a teaspoon of cumin
  • Color and salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1. Cook

The first thing you should do is put a splash of oil in a large pot or pan. Put the meat to seal there along with a little color, salt and pepper, mixing to integrate. When it looks golden brown, remove it and reserve it. In that same pot, now add another little oil along with tomato, onion and garlic, stirring to release their flavor. Salt and pepper, put a little color and cumin. Now add the rice, carrot, beans, peas, meat and water, stirring to start its normal cooking (as normal rice is made). Add the hard-boiled eggs when the rice is cooked.

Step 2. Boil

Take the cucumbers, cut off the lower tip and remove the veins and seeds that each one has. Do the same with the small part you cut off. Cook the cucumbers in a pot of water. Flip them over when you feel they have softened on one side (it should take about 3 minutes or so). Once they have boiled and softened, take them out in a separate container. Start filling them gently with a spoon, taking care that they are not completely full so that they do not fall apart. Put the little part that you cut so that the filling does not come out and put them to boil in a pot along with the milk and let them cook for 3 minutes. Ready, you can serve them and share them with your guests.
