Buenas tardes
I would like to know how many Mbps 1 mega corresponds to or how much 1 mega is equivalent in Mbps. I know that 1 Mega is equivalent to 1000 Kbps, but how much is it equivalent in Mbps. I contracted 1 mega and in the network connection status the speed says 72 Mbps Well I don’t understand!!!

First… 1 mega is 1 mbps which is 1000 kbps.
To learn more about these terms, I suggest reviewing the definitions in our dictionary (I’ll put the links below).
While the 72 Mbps that the network speed marks you is the maximum speed that your network accepts (the device that is in charge of connecting you to the Internet), but it is NOT your connection speed.
To know your connection speed you should search Google for something like: «internet speed test» and you will find various tests. I suggest you try at least two.
If you hired a 1 mega internet, then the result should give you that your internet DOWNLOAD speed is approximately 1 Mbps or 1000 kbps.
Note: the ideal way to test the internet connection is to do it without connecting via wi-fi (wirelessly), but it is better to do it by connecting the computer with a network cable directly to the cable modem or router, in this way you will know the exact speed offered by your internet provider without taking into account the problems that the wireless connection may have.
