Visitor Question or Comment:
How many keys does a keyboard have?
Response from ALEGSA.com.ar:
There is no standard for the number of keys a computer keyboard should have, but there are some general models.
Most companies use PC keyboards with between 102 and 105 keys.
XT keyboard: 83 keys, with the processor included in the keyboard. Currently unused. Original from XT computers.
AT keyboard: 84 keys, the processor is on the motherboard.
Improved or extended keyboard: 102 European keys. 101 keys in the US version. The most recent ones are 104 or 105 keys.
Then, to these keys we must add the ones that the manufacturer itself puts as extras: keys to control the volume, manage the browser, screen zoom, playback control and pause for audio player programs, etc.
