How does the remote work?

It sends coded messages through infrared light – invisible to the human eye – to the controlled device. When we press the control button, we make this light blink, emitting long and short pulses that make up a binary code, converted into commands by the device for which it is intended. Each button on the remote control corresponds to a specific code, generated by a microprocessor, which, in turn, activates a frequency generator that sends signals to the controlled equipment. This equipment contains another microprocessor, which tries to receive the signals and identify the code sent. To avoid interference on the wrong device, three binary codes are sent simultaneously: the key code in question; that same code, inverted; and, finally, the device manufacturer’s code.
