An ideal diet includes:
- Hay (must be available all year round)
- Fresh grass (depending on the season)
- Vegetables (various types)
- Fruit
- herbs / plants
Vegetables:
- Romaine lettuce
- arugula leaves
- Sweet peppers
- broccoli
- carrots
- cucumbers
- Kale
- spinach
- Kohlrabi
- iceberg lettuce
- zucchini
Most of the vegetables listed above contain vitamin C.
Clean the vegetables sufficiently before feeding them and do not serve them too cold.
Fruit:

Wash the fruit thoroughly and feed only small amounts.
Herbs:

- dandelion
- watercress
- turmeric

- pastures
Be very careful when choosing branches – some can be used in large quantities, others should be carefully rationed and fed only occasionally.
