What level! Out of revenge, he built a building to block his brother’s view of the sea
Many of us consider that siblings are one of the most important people in our livesbecause their unconditional support, their complicity, their love and their constant faith in each of the projects we carry out makes them a fundamental part of our existence.
Although in most cases the relationship with our brothers is absolutely fraternal, there are other situations in which despite sharing blood, the hatred between them is incalculable.
This was the case of a man who, annoyed by the good slice his older brother received from his father’s inheritance, decided to take revenge like no one had ever done before… Constructing a building that would impede its view of the sea!
Out of revenge, a man built a building to block his brother’s view of the sea
The unusual story took place in Beirut, capital of Lebanon, in the 1950s. There, a man inherited a large piece of land from his two sons, but due to the size of the property and infrastructure operations, it was divided into two.
In this distribution, only the oldest benefited, since he obtained the largest and most profitable piece of land, while his younger brother he kept the narrowest part (which had a peculiar triangular shape).
Although they argued for a much fairer and more equitable distribution, they never reached an agreement, so in the form of revenge, in 1954 the younger brother decided to build a curious building that completely damaged the happiness of his older brother.
Well, this was 3 floors, (in its widest part four meters wide and in the thinnest barely 60 centimeters) With which It completely blocked the excellent view of the sea that his older brother had.

But the revenge was not only in terms of aesthetics, because due to the blockade the house was considerably devaluedwhich was also a low blow economically.
The pink building, which is commonly known as ‘al-Ba`sa’ (meaning ‘The Grudge’ in Arabic) it is completely habitable, because over the years it was a brothel and even a place of refuge for families fleeing the war.
Currently This construction is considered one of the narrowest in the world.
