Greta Salad Bar, the Mexican bar in Spain

Salads, tickets, but above all, vinegar: they had to be unique. “Many times we found that the salad was good, but what failed was the vinaigrette. For us it was very important to create delicious, healthy and fun recipes. Thus, on our Friday nights, designing and trying many vinaigrets occupied a lot of time, ”says Ian. They loved the concept so much that, precisely, the name of the place comes from vinaigrette (wine – Greta).

The place, the next step

Finding the perfect place and the ideal place was another vital decisions. “It didn't cost so much to find the site, I saw it a day in idealist and I felt that it had to be. It had nothing to do with how it is now, it was falling apart but we felt that this was the ideal space, starting with its location that is a place with many offices nearby, ”says Ian. Once they got the place, it was the perfect study that understood the project to design it and the connection was automatic, the Diir study were the ideal ones.

“It was spectacular. From the first meeting we have a second where both parties could bring referents. Coincidentally, they were the same, both Lorena and Ian, and of course, we, inspired by the same references. Thus, it was very easy to get to work ”, Iñigo tells us, co -founder of Diiir study.

The concept and work

On the one hand, the bar should have a lot of presence and be the perfect place to prepare salads and show the public the authenticity and taste of each product. On the other, The green of vegetables and nature I had to be very present. It should also be a cozy place to feel at home and allow to create community.
