However, in recent weeks these types of images stopped appearing on their profiles, so Internet users began to suspect an alleged breakup.
In each publication or interaction in networks, their followers harassed them with hundreds of questions regarding said rumors; but it was not until this Tuesday that Alejandro Betancourt decided to tell the truth.
Well, through Instagram stories, the model said that it was all over, but it was on the best terms.
“It is fair to come have this conversation with you and tell you that this is all over. And it ended with all the love in the world because I love them both and they are the best thing that has happened to me this year (…) Many people label me on gossip pages that say that my relationship was a lie and that everything was to win fans, but those who know me know that I am not that kind of person.”
According to her story, the breakup occurred due to an alleged infidelity committed by Mara Cifuentes, who would have run away with her ex-partner Nicolás Trujillo, who in the past was unfaithful to her and caused her great pain, Mara herself affirmed at the time.
“For three days there were no signs of life and I was like, Oh mari#@! Is this ghosting? (which consists of ending a relationship without prior notice) (…) What hurt me the most is that they had not told me anything! In other words, ghosting me who is so open to talk and I’m never judging? And just leave me like this!”
Finally, the model said that after his suffering and his hours of crying, they cleared things up with Cifuentes and remained on good terms, since they continue to be friends.
