Email body definition

The body of an email (in English, e-mail message body) is one of the two components that make up an email message, the other being the email header.

Email was originally designed for 7-bit ASCII, and that’s how email clients and servers should be handled. The MIME standard allows the transmission of non-ASCII data.

The body of the email is where the complete message we want to send is written.

Most of today’s email clients allow plain text or HTML emails for the body of the message.
