This has generated trauma in the main access roads to several regions such as Valle, Meta, Cundinamarca and Cauca. This has caused annoyance among certain citizens, who despite agreeing with the strike, do not support the road blockades that prevent the passage of basic necessities or vehicles such as ambulances.

One of them was Elizabeth Loaiza, who while traveling along the Villavicencio road came across a caravan that prevented her and other drivers from passing. Quite upset, she got out of her truck to demand that the protesters end the blockade.

In the recording captured by Loaiza herself, it can be seen how the model, without wearing face masks to avoid the spread of COVID-19, discuss. He also asks why he is preventing her from passing, to which the man replies that moments before a truck did the same as her but ran over a motorcyclist, so they were not going to let her pass.

Given the man’s response, Loaiza began to raise the tone of her voice claiming that this was her road and that they should let her pass because she was not part of the mobilization.

“Your rights end where mine begin. You’re keeping me in my country this is my road, let me pass, I’m not in the mobilization. I’m asking you a favor»

Little by little the situation became more tense. It got to the point where many more people came into the discussion defending their different points of view on the blockade.

Finally, the model shared the recording, which she accompanied with a controversial message in which she assured that although she agrees that people defend their rights, she does not support blockades.

“I agree that people fight for their rights, especially low-income people who have not had many job or study opportunities. But they have to know that the government, which in this case acts as the mother and father of these people, does not have a little machine that produces money to cover the expenses that the mother and father did not have to cover.”
