The use of sodium bicarbonate should not exceed 3 teaspoons a day, and can be used for a maximum period of 2 weeks for the rapid relief of heartburn, since its excessive use can cause a rebound effect, that is, the stomach increases the production of acid by noticing that the acidity decreases, so the discomfort of this condition can worsen.

In addition, it has unsaturated fats, potassium, magnesium, calcium and B vitamins. It helps regulate intestinal transit thanks to its large amount of soluble fiber. However, to further facilitate digestion, it should be consumed soaked in water or milk.

Grapes

Grapes also serve to reduce acidity, as they contain an element called resveratrol that helps reduce inflammation and control oxidative mechanisms.
