That is why when the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá published decree 304 of December 22, 2020 on its website, which restricts the sale and consumption of intoxicating beverages in public places open to the public or whose private activity transcends the public throughout the Capital District, merchants and restaurants in the city rejected it.

The mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, got up early to criticize this Wednesday, December 23, and published through her official Twitter account some modifications to the measures to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Measures for Bogotá in these festivities:
- Implementation of #PicoYCédula
- Restriction on the sale of liquor
- Parties are prohibited in public and private spaces
- Meetings only with the family circle (no more than 10 people)
