Through a statement it was learned that the renowned lawyer Abelardo De la Espriella will defend Lina Tejeiro in the case of her father recently linked to the seizure of a drug shipment.
Last Wednesday of November 17, General Ricardo Alarcón (Antinarcotics Director of the National Police) announced through an official video that agents under his command had managed to seize a ton of cocaine, which was being transported by means of a watercraft in the Buenaventura port center.
There the uniformed man explained that said shipment came from Ecuador and apparently was going to be sent to the city of Valencia, Spain, however, that was not what caused the most stir, since he later revealed that said shipment would link to the father of a famous actress Colombian.
Although the general did not mention the name of any figure from the national show business, the speculations and comments did not wait, however, the following day the controversial entertainment journalist Graciela Torres, popularly known as ‘la Negra Candela’, announced that according to his investigations, the man linked to said seizure would be none other than the father of the renowned actress, model and influencer, Lina Tejeiro.

Although the journalist did not show any proof of what she said or comment on who would be in charge of providing her with said information, this immediately occupied the front pages of the main news portals in the country, as her unusual revelations caused a stir.
Given the intense disclosure of said information and its null veracity, the actress (who in recent days appeared on her networks mocking and making jokes about said situation) in the last hours decided to take action and obtain the defense of the renowned Colombian lawyer Abelardo of the Espriella.
Through a recording addressed to public opinion, the lawyer not only announced that he would take on Tejeiro’s representation but also demanded correction from the media that linked his client to the owner of said drug shipment confiscated in Bonaventure.
“Lina Tejeiro nor her family are being investigated as perversely it has gone viral. That is why I have requested several rectifications to different media that have already been given and others that are in progress. We put our heart out for our clients and with that attitude we will continue to defend the good name of Lina Tejeiro; we seek justice and the causes of our clients are our own.”
In addition to the statement, de la Espriella attached a document from the Anti-Narcotics Police indicating that that force never provided information to the ‘Negra Candela’.
Authorities never mentioned the actress
It should be noted that during an interview with Blu Radio, the uniformed Alarcón clarified that although it was revealed that the person involved would be ‘the father of a famous actress’, Tejeiro was never mentioned, since he confessed that the only clues they have of the suspect are his alias, ‘the black janitor’, and that he is the father of an actress.
